Linda Ikeji has been in the news in the past few days after she took on fans for calling her bags fake.

Some weeks back Linda Ikeji showed off two Hermes Birkin bags on her Instagram page as new acquisitions. Before anyone could say jack, internet trolls had sent the bag to Hermes for Authentication. Hermes came back and confirmed the bags are fake.

I do not believe she knew the bags were fake, so I’ll give her a pass for that. What shocked me was the way she went all out to defend herself, like her life depended on it…

– “I can afford to buy a N500million house but can’t afford a $14k bag? B**ch pls!”

– “This lovely bag cost me more than these haters cars cost and they want to come and disgrace me online? Lol. Lailai”

– “The side of the bag. Oh and I’m snapping from my banana island mansion(insert LMAO emoji) love this life

– “….can someone cc Hermes with the new images? These people can’t come and disgrace me here. Lol”

– “Too rich to buy fake…”

All of the above quotes are some of the words  to defend her purchase of a fake bag

But before then linda ikeji already posted a report late last year that wizkid was paid 8million naira by an american university in yola but he diidnt show up,Linda was said to have been tagged on the report but she did not verify from the singer before publishing it, the report later turned out to be untrue as the management debunked the report.

    Wizkid didn't find the report funny  took to his twitter page to cuss out the blogger and other member of her family

Earlier this year  already  accused wizkid (baba NLA) of having a child with another baby mama which he stayed silent until he retweeted a post on twitter suggesting Linda ikeji was suffering from "POVERTY MENTALITY"( his retweet was a sign of agreeing).

Linda decided to return a jab by posting an article titled "when your baby daddy is not a deadbeat"

Wizkid seem not to be okay with the retweet he then shared the picture below on snapchat with caption "ALMOST 40,LONELY AND BITTER!PRAYERS UP FOR YOU" with this picture it seems Wizkid is out to destroy

When Linda Ikeji bought a huge house in the luxury Banana Island, most people were happy for her and wished for such to happen to them too. In fact, I sent her an email congratulating her and hoping I can write for her blog someday.

From someone who people admired and prayed about, she has come from 100-0 in my eyes. I see the desperation to fit in, the pride that comes from wealth but is skin deep, the class that’s lacking and a huge ego that is blinding.

A major symptom of poverty mentality is money and material fixation. Sometimes, no matter how far away from poverty one runs, some people still need an open brain surgery to expunge the poverty mentality.

If you have decided that your car, purse, wardrobe or jewelry are the most valuable things you own, then the quality of your life is based solely on these things. If someone takes them away from you, what would the state of your mind be?

Linda Ikeji Apologizes Over Bag Scandal. Suggests Hermes Screenshots Were Fake

Let me apologize to the true Linda Ikeji fans who may have been offended by my rant the other day! I reacted because I thought it was really a confirmation from Hermes. But I later found out that Hermes would never confirm the authenticity of a bag over IG dm. If they're wrong, the owner of the bag could sue so usually they ask you to bring the bag into one of their stores and if they find it to be a counterfeit, they could seize it. So that dm was a fluke. But anyway, enough about the bag. It's so petty! Can't believe how much we argued over it and how crazy I went over it! ☺ But the whole drama has made me realise that the amount I spent on 2 bags could have changed a few lives if I'd invested it in them. But I'm bag obsessed, what can I say? . May God bless you so much that the least of your worries will be a bag! Anyway, I've decided to double the amount of money I'll give out this year to aspiring female entrepreneurs. Been feeling a little guilty I want to redeem myself. I've told my pple to find a venue asap and have y'all meet me soon. Success is sweet, I tell you! When you don’t have to depend on daddy, husband, bf, Aristo. ..for anything you want..nothing beats that! I want so many ladies to succeed so the next generation can have more women to look up to. Plus, one of the must rules of getting blessings from God..is that you must spread it. You're allowed to buy bags every now & then but you must help others..That's the only way He will continue to bless you! Anyway, having said all that..I'm going on a luxury trip to Dubai soon with family and friends and I'd like to a take a true fan along. It will be an all-expense paid trip with shopping money included . Trying to figure out how to chose though. Any ideas? Oh and by the way, this is my fist selfie
