The moment former Guatemalan president learnt he is headed for prison hours after his resignation

Otto Perez Molina, 64, was sent to jail hours after
tendering his resignation as president of
Guatemala for his role in a multimillion-dollar
customs fraud case. His vice president, Alejandro
Maldonado, was sworn in as president on
Thursday afternoon, after Congress voted to
accept the resignation. He is the first president in
Guatemalan history to resign over a corruption
scandal.
