Mother Leaves Newborn Son Behind In Hospital

Police have launched an appeal after a woman went missing from a London hospital hours after giving birth – leaving her healthy baby boy behind. Anna Chudy had been admitted to Northwick Park Hospital in Harrow on Wednesday night, and delivered her child by caesarean section in the early hours of Thursday morning. But at 10.30am on Friday, CCTV images show the 35-year-old leaving the Accident and Emergency department in the company of an unidentified male.
